Student Support

To ensure that issues faced by students are amicably resolved, the college has a Grievance Redressal cell . 

Grievances are resolved by discussion with the Grievance Redressal Committee. Most grievances are resolved in 7 days. 

2021-22

One grievance was received on 31 March 2022. Few students wanted the recess to be at 11 a.m instead of 10 am. The Principal and faculty in charge spoke to the entire class.But as most students prefered the breaks to be at 10 am and 12.10 pm, the schedule was retained. The students who had put forward te request accepted the unaimous decision of the committee and their peers. 

2020-21

One request was received from students who had to travel by train. As there were limited trains due to lockdown, those coming by train requested a change in examination timings so as to match with the special train for women. The request was duly accepted and the timings of examination were changed. 


Solace the Counselling cell of the college also guides the students to ensure sound mental health. The Principal normally counsels students in need of support. Faculty members are kept duly informed of the case so that they too can help the concerned student.
