The Internship for the two Year B.Ed programme is organized as follows, 3 weeks in the Second Semester, 11 weeks in the Third Semester and 4 weeks in the Fourth Semester. Two weeks of Communtiy Work is conducted.
Code of Conduct For Student-teachers
- Be present on time for the internship.
- Treat all students, school staff and adminstrators with respect.
- Decent attire is compuslory. No sleeveless garments are permitted.
- Coordinate with mentor teachers and get the unit well in advance.
- Come prepared for the lessons.
- Use all equipment such as audio visual aids, laboratory material etc with utmost care
- Team work is essential for a successful internship.
- Conduct should always be consistent with the dignity of the profession
- Actively participate in all curricular and co curricular activities of the school
- Speak respectfully to all
- Discharge all duties allotted to the internship group after due consultation with the teacher in charge.

Mentor teachers associated with the Internship programme - 7 teacher educators plus 50 school teachers as mentors to individual student-teachers.
The institution conducts orientation programme for the students before the commencement of Internship. The Institution conductsthe Planning cum consultation meeting with the Heads of Internship Schools to ensure smooth execution of the internship programme.
