Faculty Exchange Programme

 The college enriches student learning by inviting faculty of other institutions to interact with the students. In turn the college faculty also shares their expertise with students of other institutions. 

2022-23

Principal Dr Sr Tanuja Waghmare of St Teresa's Institute of Education regularly attended the College Development Committee Meetings of Pushpanjali College of Education and Sr Delicia Fernandes in charge Principal of Pushpanjali College of Education attended the CDC meetings at St Teresa's Institute of Education.

Dr Cindrella DMello was appointed as IQAC member of Pushpanjali College of Education and she regularly attended IQAC meetings and added to the quality assurance initiatives. 

On 27 March 2023 Dr Cerena DCunha conducted a workshop on  The Place of Grammar in Oral and Written Communication. The workshop was part of the Value added Course on Communication Skills conducted for the students of  Pushpanjali College of Education.


 On 28 April Dr Shakuntala Nighot, Librarian of St Teresa's Institute of Education conducted a session on Literature Search and Reference Management.


Dr Agnes Dcosta conducted a    Workshop on AI and contemporary trends in education for the students of St Teresa's Institute of Education .

A session on NEP 2020 was conducted for the students of St Teresa's Institute of Education . Dr Agnes Dcosta was the resource person.

Online Workshop for students of Sarada Kurup College of Education, Ghansoli

On 31 March 2023, an online workshop on Contemporary Trends in Education was organised by the IQAC of Sarada Kurup College of Education, Ghansoli. The workshop covered different aspects of E content like creation of content using Wordwall, Thinglink and Flippity. Students prepared their own e content. A session on contemporary trends like Artificial Intelligence in Education and the applications of the same was also conducted. Dr Agnes Dcosta from Pushpanjali College was the resource person and Dr Chitra from Sarada Kurup College moderated the session. 


2021-22

Principal of St. Teresa's Institute of Education is an advisory member on the College Development  Committee for Society of Our Lady of Grace Convent Pushpanjali College of Education.

Sr Delicia Fernandes, Asst Professor of Society of Our Lady of Grace Convent Pushpanjali College of Education is an advisory memebr of the College Development  Committee of St. Teresa's Institute of Education .

Dr Agnes DCosta was resource person at St.Teresa's Institue of Education, Santacruz for a session on National Education Policy 2020 on 6 April 2022. Students of S.Y.B.Ed interacted to understand the recommendations of the policy and discuss the role of teachers in the context of NEP 2020.

Dr Agnes DCosta conducted  online workshops for students of St.Teresa's Institue of Education, Santacruz . On 6 Sept she conducted a workshop on Thinglink a digital platform for interactivity .

On 20 Sept Dr Cerena DCunha conducted a session for students of Pushpanjali College of Education on the topic  Professional Development of Teachers. 





2020-21: The faculty and students of St Teresa's Institute of Education, Santacruz and Pushpanjali College of Education, Vasai were mutually enriched as the faculty shared their expertise on various topics. Following The programmes were conducted at Pushpanjali College of Education under the faculty exchange programme

Dr Giselle DSouza conducted a workshop on 11 July 2020 on the topic 'All's well that Blends Well' where she emphasized the significance of group dynamics in conflict resolution.

Dr Cerena DCunha conducted a Certificate Course on English Grammar in Jan-Feb 2021 for the benefit of the F.Y.B.Ed students.

On 2 Oct 2021 Dr Cindrella DMello and Dr Agnes DCosta coordinated to conduct   a workshop on Preparation for the Teacher Eligibility Test(TET). Jointly they provided resources to many inservice teachers appearing for the Central TET.



Following programmes were conducted for St Teresa's Institute of Education under the faculty exchange programme

Dr Agnes DCosta conducted a workshop on Constructivist Approach to E Learning on 21 Jan 2021. She conducted a workshop on Smart Tools for Using Technology in the Classroom on 30 Jan 2021. On 27 March 2021, she was resource person for a session on NEP 2020. On 15 July 2021, she conducted a Workshop on Flippity Tools.

Programme organised under aegis of IQAC Pillai's College of Education and Research, Chembur

Pillai’s College of Education, Chembur organized a series of webinars on topics in theory courses for F.Y.B.Ed. Dr Agnes Dcosta conducted a webinar on Cyberbullying on 6 April 2021. The webinar was moderated by Dr Reni Francis Principal of Pillai's College of Education and Research and was attended by students of F.Y.B.Ed of Pillai’s College of  Education(Chembur) and Pushpanjali College of Education. Students of other B.Ed colleges also participated in the webinar. 



2019-20

On 23 Sept 2019 Dr Cindrella DMello of St Teresa's Institute of Education conducted a workshop on Preparation for Teacher Eligibility Test. This session oriented students of S.Y.B.Ed to the nature of the TET. She also guided regarding the registration process and the validity of TET certification.



A national level webinar entitled Education GenNext: Perspectives, Opportunities and Challenges was organised by St Teresa's Institute of Education, Santacruz. Principal Dr Mabel Pimenta was a peer reviewer for the papers published as part of seminar proceedings. 

Dr Agnes DCosta is on the IQAC of St Teresa's Institute of Education and regularly guides the college regarding quality related matters.
